Marcus L. Brown 7/19/1989-10/6/2008
It’s been a year since your tragic death and I wanted to give you a tribute and a proper Good-bye to the earthly world since I couldn’t at that time.Marcus, you were a wonderful human being and it was a blessing and a pleasure raising you for 19 years. You were kind, loving, giving, and saved by God’s grace. Your graduation from Edgewater High School was so exciting for me because you were the 1st of your sibling to graduate in a commencement ceremony. You were a talented artist and always wise beyond your years. Everyone who knew you loved you. You were a leader. You had a blessing and a curse of being kindhearted and trusting with everyone.I thank God for allowing me to have you for those 19 years, although short lived. I know you are with him, there is no doubt. You read your bible every day, Revelations being your favorite chapter and “Amazing Grace” your favorite song.
A part of you arrived into this world, March 22, 2009, 5 months after your death, Markayla Lyric Brown. I know you met her spirit before her earthly birth, but I want you to know that she beautiful and have your eyes (and your big toe LOL). Her smile warms my heart and I can’t hug and kiss her enough. You would have “spoiled her rotten”, so since you’re not here I get that pleasure. Whenever she is with me, I tell her all about the kind of person her Daddy was. To God, thank you for blessing and keeping me. To my husband, thank you for the love and strength you have given me. To my children, I love unconditionally. P.S. Marcus I love you as you are always in my heart and mind. I will see you again in heaven.
Love, Mommy.
